now on, you may use your mobile phone at any time and place
according to screen instructions to enjoy the personal money
management service offered by the Bank of China. You will
have easy access to functions like account information
inquiry, transfer between deposit accounts, transfer between
bank deposit and stock deposit, securities trading, personal
exchange trading based on actual quotation, fee-based
payment service, and financial information inquiry.

Application

Condition for application
Only using mobile phones of designated type and STK card,
can customers apply for the mobile-phone banking service. If
you are already the subscriber of GoTone, you may change
your SIM card to STK card at the telecom business office or
the outlet of BOC. If you are going to buy a mobile phone,
please buy the STK card at the above-mentioned place.

Application procedure
The applicant has to carry the original of valid ID card,
the Great Wall electronic debit card (including passbook),
certificates of all personal accounts involved in the
mobile-phone banking service (including demand and time
"all-in-one" accounts, credit card account,
personal cheque account, demand account matched with the
Great Wall debit card, securities margin account, etc.), to
BOC's business outlet, where the applicant will fill in the
"Application Form for Opening and Closing Account for
the Bank of China's Electronic Banking Service", and
sign the "Agreement on Electronic Banking Service of
the Bank of China". The service will be available
immediately after the Bank has approved the application.

Code setting
While opening the account for mobile-phone banking service,
the customer has to formulate a 6-digit transaction code for
the service (notice: this transaction code is the only
passage to the mobile-phone banking service. It is an
indispensable key for the customer to access the service, so
the customer is asked to memorize the code and keep it
secret. It is advisable to select digits easy to remember).

Cancellation procedure
Customers requiring to cancel the mobile-phone banking
service may come to the Bank's outlet where the applicant
will file the application, and fill in the application form
for closing the account. The cancellation will take effect
after the Banks has approved the application.
